EU accepts Microsoft browser offer, no fine

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – EU antitrust regulators accepted on Wednesday Microsoft’s offer to allow users in Europe choose rival Internet browsers, ending a decade-long dispute and averting a possible fine for the company.
